the cooling comes from how low the intake is, so it gets nice and wet in all the puddles, then evaporative cooling takes effect.... or hydrolock, whichever happens first

I’ve seen worse for awhile companies were making CIAs specifiacaly made to look like intercoolers. But where the intercooler should be, there was just a big “drop in” panel filter. You know cuz those filters are meant to be open to the elements.
